the crown jewel of 1995's summer blockbusters appears to have arrived early. it's hard to imagine any motion picture released between now and august matching mel gibson's braveheart for spectacle. with its clashing armies, heartstopping action, and grand sense of romance, this is the sort of film it's a pleasure to see and review.

let me state my preferences up front. i'm a big fan of the epic adventure, a category in which braveheart, like cream, rises to the top. there's a lot in this film that's praiseworthy not the least of which is its ambition. those viewing this picture may be easily reminded of gettysburg, the last of the mohicans, glory, and such classics as lawrence of arabia, el cid, and spartacus. the grandeur is certainly present; nevertheless, gibson gives us not only memorable battles, but characters of real substance.

看完后更加映证了我的教师《性格的力量》的作者杨滨教师的一句话，'天下没有不可沟通之人，只是没有找到与其沟通方法的人。'

主人公威尔从小生活在缺少父爱，受家庭暴力，继父粗鲁、冷酷、虐待，三个寄养家庭，母亲再婚重组家庭长大，在皮鞭棍棒恐惧没有安全感环境成长。所以，变得乖戾和粗暴;小孩在批评中长大，他就学会指责;在敌意环境中长大，他就学会大家;他从小生活在暴力、责骂与教条的家庭环境中，所以心里埋下了恨、敌意、不信任与僵化的种子，恐惧真相，浅表自信，缺乏直面真相的勇气，在与女朋友争吵中便可看出，他的现实觉知本事出现了问题，为了远离真相，他用欺骗自我和欺骗别人的方式把自我的人生变成一团难以辨认的迷雾，他不敢带女朋友去见他的家人，欺骗女朋友说他有很多兄弟姐妹。在没有遇到数学教授和尚恩心理医师之前，威尔的心灵至少是在这团迷雾中迷失了方向，他不明白自我到底想要什么，没有人生目标，没有追求，他宁愿和朋友去干苦力也不愿发挥自我的天赋为国家安全局工作，他有很强的心理防御机制。

威尔的童年收获了太多的痛苦，给他童年幼小的心灵带来太多的伤害，所以，对他来讲，真相意味着痛苦，所以他厌恶真相，哪怕真相一开始意味着欢乐(就像他遇到了女朋友)但他仍深信这个欢乐的背后藏着不可预知的痛苦，果然映证了他的潜意识，还是与女朋友分了手。造成其原因都要归到威尔从小缺乏爱……

心理防御机制就像是止痛药，它能够暂时地减少心理的疼痛，但它不会令引起心理疼痛的问题消失，威尔的乖张叛逆行为是因为从小就缺乏安全感，要恢复威尔的安全感就必须给他无条件的爱，心灵成长需要包容，威尔叛逆玩世不恭，捉弄人，喜欢恶作剧，打架斗殴，数学教授给他找了五个心理医生都因他的不配合，反而捉弄，恶作剧式的把五个心理医生气跑了，因为威尔不信任他们，威尔从小到大心理扭曲的症结也不是这么容易打开的。

可是，数学教授惜才如金，他相信威尔是数学天才，具有数学天赋。他相信只要治好了威尔的心理疾病，是能够教育引导走向正路，成为国家有用的栋梁之材，为国家甚至为人类做出巨大的贡献，教授坚信他是数学天才，是怪才。但凡天才、怪才、鬼才，从小到大都有与众不一样的怪异表现，比如贝多芬、达尔文、牛顿、毕加索、爱迪生等。

说到这我想起电视上曾报道过8岁小男孩性格怪异，但他在某一方面十分具有天赋，他就是和别的孩子不一样，但他的父母就是以为他有病，带他到处看病，甚至去看心理医生，想寻求和别的小孩一样父母自认为所谓'正常'的孩子，其实我们大家经常都在讲与众不一样，当我们的孩子真正表现出某些特质，与众不一样的时候，又觉得不正常。家长们又自觉不自觉的陷入了从众心理。

有位心理咨询师讲的十分好，近几十上百年我们的家长与我们的教育有关的，一方面又想自我的孩子与众不一样，另一方面当我们的孩子某些地方表现出不一样的特质时，家长又去打压，抹杀孩子的天性，从而让我们的孩子变得人云亦云，从而反过来又去埋怨孩子，其实不是孩子出了问题，是我们自我出了问题。

只要引导得好，循循善诱，多给一点包容，多给一点耐心，多给一点爱，多给一点包容，都能够被感化，所以，数学教授去监狱保释他，但提出两个条件，第一要每一天抽必须时间陪教授一齐共同研究数学，二是固定的时间去看心理医生，当威尔第一次去看心理医生尚恩时，表现出不屑的神情，不配合，叛逆、戏弄、玩世不恭，威尔其实很聪明，他倒帮尚恩医师分析起他的一幅画了，前半部分，分析的不无正确，只是后半部分威尔表现出的不屑一顾，不尊重的态度激起了尚恩的愤怒，刺激了尚恩医生痛苦思念的回忆，正如尚恩很爱他的妻子，很怀念他的妻子，所以不允许任何人对他逝去的妻子表现出不敬。

否则尚恩将宰了他。当然当时威尔不明白他的妻子已去世，虽然威尔在尚恩面前犯了错，可每个孩子都可能犯错，大人要给他改错的机会，因为每个孩子都是在犯错、认错、知错、改错的过程中渐渐成熟的，尚恩包容了威尔，包容能消冰融雪，随即，尚恩医师的一翻谈话触及了威尔，他说你没有真正失去过，也就没有真正拥有过爱，没有真正经历过很多事情，包括感情;没有资格站在那里高谈阔论，夸夸其谈，只是理论上一套，他问威尔你懂真正的感情吗什么是真正的感情你经历过吗当看到这一段时，我不禁想起当年我年轻的时候在部队，连长找我谈话时说'你还年轻，很多事情看得多，听得多，见多识广;但未必亲身经历过，你以为你懂，但未必真的懂，看别人吃梨子和自我吃梨子，仅有亲口吃梨子的人明白个中滋味，正所谓'如鱼饮水，冷暖自知'这能够经过后面威尔和女朋友的分手看出，真正感情带给他的欢乐、幸福、满足和痛苦、悲伤、无助、沮丧。'

the movie was totally funny and the graphics was superb. especially, sid the sloth was the funniest of all and his voice was also funny. my favorite characters were diego and soto because of their saber tooth and they were so superb in the movie. manny and scrat were also funny. all the scrat scenes were so funny.

the last scene was also cool. the baby was very cute and that is also favorite character. when sid says to manny that i can take care of the baby, that scene was also funny. even, the rhinos were superb. the voice of soto and diego, was superb and it was a harsh voice given by the people. the melon scene and the sliding scene were funny. i should really appreciate the creators of "ice age".
